Inclement weather has forced authorities to close down cross LoC trade for Friday.
According, to Trade Facilitation Officer Uri, Syed Ishfaq Andrabi, “there have been landslides at various places on opposite side of the border, therefore we have closed trade for tomorrow.” “The road too has been closed.”
The local sources told Kashmir Life that heavy snowfall is going on in Darkote Hajipeer area falling on other side of LoC. The TF authorities said that authorities on other side had conveyed information to them regarding closure of road due to slippery conditions.
Uri Darkote Hajipeer and Badgra to Ziyarat Mirasahib road have been closed due to inclement weather conditions already.
The local sources also said, “truckers have been already informed not to bring their trucks to trade facilitation centre.”
