In view of fresh snowfall, weather predictions and the reports received from Chief Engineer, Project beacon and Superintendent of Police, Traffic (rural), Kashmir, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on Sunday notified that Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road (Zojila Pass) shall remain temporarily closed for all types of vehicular traffic from today.
Pertinently, the traffic on Srinagar-Jammu highway has been thrown open for the light vehicular movement after the landslides at different places were cleared off by the authorities today. While as, the historic Mughal road remained closed.
