Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against an army man for allegedly thrashing his cousin brother during a cricket match in Uri area of district Baramulla.
A senior police official while confirming the incident said that Police has been registered a case under FIR No 21/18 under sections 341, 323, 506 RPC against the man.
The official added that accused “ruthlessly” thrashed his cousin Syed Danish (14), son of Sumander Hussain in his residential village in Chulla village of Uri town.
The police identified the accused as Syed Gulzar, son of Syed Bagh Hussain of 4 JAKLI, adding that minor boy, is in the hospital for the treatment.
