SRINAGAR: Almost an hour ahead the Supreme Court started announcing its judgement on the reading down of Article 370, and in the aftermath of the proceedings, Kapil Sibal, the senior advocate representing petitioner Mohammad Akbar Lone, expressed his reflections on the outcome.
Taking to the microblogging site X on Monday morning, Sibal succinctly remarked, “Some battles are fought to be lost.”
In a post on X, he further stated, “For history must record the uncomfortable facts for generations to know. The right and wrong of institutional actions will be debated for years to come. History alone is the final arbiter of the moral compass of historic decisions.”
Sibal was the senior lawyer of the Supreme Court whose arguments against the abrogation of Article 370 continued for three days.
