SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Police said on Saturday that they have cracked the murder case in Sopore, detaining the wife and her paramour as the primary suspects.
Official sources revealed that the inquiry initiated following the family’s report of 50-year-old Reyaz Ahmad Mir’s disappearance on Friday morning.
Following an extensive search, Mir’s lifeless body was found in a water-filled trench.
Promptly, the authorities apprehended the wife and her boyfriend, swiftly concluding the investigation.
A comprehensive police briefing on the case is scheduled for tomorrow, with both the wife and her boyfriend currently held in custody.
