A Complete shutdown was witnessed in Sopore area of north Kashmir Baramulla district to mourn the killings of three militants in a gunfight with government forces in Amargarh area of Sopore town on Saturday.
All business establishments & shops remained closed while traffic was off the roads in Sopore, home town of Danish Lashkari.
Large amount of armed force was being deployed in and around the area.
The situation remained tense with sporadic incidents of stone pelting at many places, Many of the protestors sustained injuries, one injured protestor near baghhat batpora was referred to Srinagar for treatment.
