SRINAGAR: A 21-year-old youth from Anantnag in south Kashmir lost his life in a tragic road accident in Pahalgam on Wednesday night.
Officials said that the deceased, identified as Shakir Sopori, a resident of Batengoo, Anantnag, sustained critical injuries after his motorcycle met with an accident around in the evening. He was immediately rushed to GMC Anantnag, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings in the matter. (KNC)
