SRINAGAR: A 65-year-old woman was injured after being attacked by a wild bear in the Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
The incident occurred in Darpora Khundoora village, where the woman was reportedly attacked by the bear, reports said.
The injured woman was identified as Mubeena Banoo, wife of late Mohammad Maqbool Mantoo and a resident of Darpora.
She was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for medical treatment.
