An official said that the searches are being carried out simultaneously at several sites based on actionable intelligence inputs regarding suspected links, activities, and financial or logistical support networks connected to the banned outfit.

Senior police officers are supervising the ongoing operations, which are aimed at tightening surveillance and ensuring strict enforcement of the UAPA ban across the region.

Further details are awaited. (KNC)
