SRINAGAR: A 45-year-old shepherd was killed after being attacked by a wild bear in Mathar forest area of Daksum in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday morning.
An official told said that, the deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Chopan, son of Ghulam Rasool Chopan, resident of Tangpaw Sagam, Kokernag.
Body is being shifted to PHC Larnoo for medico-legal formalities, they said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNC)
