SRINAGAR: Former Director-General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Shesh Paul Vaid along with his two family members have tested positive for COVID-19.
Taking to social networking site Twitter, Shesh Paul Vaid wrote: “Today morning me along with my wife and son have tested positive for #COVID19. I express my heartfelt gratitude to all who have blessed me and my family by wishing me well. All who have been in direct contact with me in last 2 weeks please get yourself tested and quarantined.”

So far 84031 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir, out of which 9992 are Active Positive, 72706 have recovered and 1333 have died; 434 in Jammu division and 899 in Kashmir division.
