The National Conference today appealed to the government not to spare anybody found involved in supplying spurious drugs and stringent action should be taken immediately against violators.
“No one has the right to play with the lives of the people. These people (culprits) need to be punished”, said a NC spokesman adding, “No one should be spared whosoever is involved.”
“The health department must completely eliminate sale of spurious drugs and take stringent action against elements playing with health of the people of the state”, he added.
He also said that the samples of medicines should be tested in a time bound manner to evade supply of spurious drugs to health institutions of the state.
