Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta has ordered elections for 11 members each of the three Financial Committees of House of the J&K Legislative Assembly.
As per the notification issued in this regard the last date for making nominations is April 13, 2015 upto 3 P.M, the date for scrutiny of nominations is April 17, 2015, upto 3 P.M, the last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 20, 2015, upto 3 P.M and the date on which poll shall, if necessary, be held is April 23, 2015 upto 3 P.M
The Speaker has appointed Special Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly, M. R. Singh as the Returning officer for the purpose in terms of Regulation No. 2(1) (e) of the said Regulations.
