HANDWARA: A ten-year-old Boy was crushed to death this afternoon at Gundkahroo Handwara in Kupwara district, reports said.
According to reports the vehicle under registration number 5759/JK09 hit a ten-year-old boy, which injured the boy critically and later succumbed on way towards sub district hospital Sopore.
The boy has been identified as Afreen Ahmad. “The vehicle driver Abdul Hameed Mir son of Abdul Aziz Mir resident of Hampora Handwara, has been arrested and the vehicle has been seized.”
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under section 30a4 RPC Handwara, while the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family for last rites.
