A traffic police man was killed by a speedy vehicle at Pantha chowk area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar on Srinagar Jammu highway on Monday , sources said.
Official said that a speedy vehicle hit the traffic police cop who was performing his duties at Panthachowk, resulting in his death.
He was identified as Special Police officer Manzoor Ahmad a resident of Zewan.
However the injured cop was rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Meanwhile Police has registered a case and investigation has been taken up.
