SRINAGAR: Srinagar-born photographer Naveed Ahmed has earned three recognitions at the 2026 Architecture Photography MasterPrize, winning an award in the hospitality interiors category and receiving two Mentions for his exterior architectural photography.
Ahmed, founder and director of Dubai-based content creation agency Content Shooters, was recognised for three works: Passage of Opulence, which won in the Interior Architecture Photography — Hospitality Interior category; Veins of the Marina, which received an Honorable Mention in the Exterior Architecture Photography — Cityscapes category; and Symbol of Love, which earned an Honorable Mention in the Historic Exterior category.
The recognitions place Ahmed among the photographers whose work was selected in an international competition that drew entries from 95 countries. According to the information provided, he is the first Kashmiri to be recognised by the Architecture MasterPrize Awards in the interior and exterior architecture photography categories.
“I am incredibly honoured to receive this recognition from Architecture MasterPrize. With entries from 95 countries, this was a truly global competition, and that makes this recognition feel even more special,” Ahmed said.
Founded in 2016 by the Los Angeles-based Farmani Group, the Architecture MasterPrize recognises achievements in architecture, interior design and architectural photography. Its photography programme covers 29 categories spanning interior and exterior architecture, with an international jury comprising more than 60 architects, designers, photographers, curators and academics.
Ahmed’s three recognitions span distinct aspects of architectural photography, from hospitality interiors to urban waterfront landscapes and historic structures. The results highlight the range of his work across spaces shaped by contemporary design, city life and architectural heritage.
Originally from Srinagar, Ahmed is now based in Dubai, where he leads Content Shooters, a content creation agency. His recognition at the 2026 awards brings international attention to a photographer from Kashmir working in the competitive field of architectural imagery.
