A teenage Srinagar boy drowned in river Lidder at tourist resort Pahlagam in southern district of Islamabad Thursday afternoon.
Reports said that a boy aged around 17-18 years drowned in the river he was busy in photography on the river bank and slipped into the river. He was on a school picnic.
The boy has been identified as Haseeb Jeelani son of Ghulam Jeelani, a resident of Safakadal, Wanganpora Srinagar.
His body was fished out near Poshwan park in Batkoot, police sources said. The identity of the boy is being ascertained.
