SRINAGAR: One unidentified militant was killed, and four security personnel were injured during an ongoing encounter between security forces and militants in the Khanyar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday.
As per police officials, one militant has been killed, two CRPF Jawans and two Policemen are injured. During the operation, the residential house which has been involved in the encounter has caught fire.
The incident began when a joint team of security forces intensified searches around a suspected location, leading to an exchange of gunfire between forces and militants. (News Vibes of India)
