Srinagar Employees working under Contract based sweepers from the Lal-Ded hospital, Srinagar on Wednesday held a protest demonstration outside press enclave, Srinagar.

Scores of the female protestors assembled outside press colony seeking regularisation.

“We even knocked every concerned door to in case they help us but there was no initiative taken by the authorities

Another protester on the condition of anonymity said: “we were only given Rs 2300 per month while standard labour rate is 4500 rupees per month.”
