Srinagar-Jammu highway was closed for the traffic movement on Monday evening due to incessant rains and snow at Patnitop, Ramban and Banihal for the safety of passengers.
“Passengers are requested to contact traffic control room before leaving for their destinations,” said a traffic spokesman.
Met department has predicted more rains and snow for next two days across Jammu and Kashmir.
