After thrown open for traffic for some time Sunday afternoon, the Jammu-Srinagar highway was again closed Monday for the third consecutive day.
The official said rain and landslides blocked the highway at Kheri in Udhampur district today, preventing yatra to move towards Kashmir from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu.
Meanwhile, Border Roads Organisation has started highway clearance operation and is expected to reopen the road till evening.
