SRINAGAR: The Srinagar-Jammu highway was partially restored from Ramban to Kashmir Valley on Saturday after weather conditions improved across Jammu and Kashmir, a traffic department official said.

“The highway has been restored for one-way traffic. Only Kashmir-bound vehicles stranded in Ramban are being allowed to proceed to their destinations,” the official added.

It was closed for four days due to multiple landslides and a portion of the road had been washed away in a mudslide at Dalwas on Wednesday in Ramban district, stranding over 2000 vehicles carrying passengers and essential supplies.
