SRINAGAR: The Administration on Wednesday announced three days as dry days for repairing critical spots along Srinagar-Jammu highway and as such there will be no traffic on these three days on the thoroughfare.
DC Ramban in a tweet said that “Dry Days announced by Government for Feb 24, Mar 03 & Mar 10 for repair & maintenance of critical spots on NH-44. No traffic will be allowed on these 3 days.”

Meanwhile, an official spokesman said in Jammu: “The government of Jammu and Kashmir today directed the National Highway Authority of India for undertaking important repair and maintenance works on NH-44.
Accordingly, 24th February has been declared as Traffic Dry day between Nashri to Navyuga Tunnel. No LMV or HMV (except the medical emergency vehicle) will be allowed to ply on NH-44 between Nashri Tunnel towards Navyuga Tunnel and vice-versa from 6.00 AM on 24th February till 6.00 AM on 25th February 2023.
Also, a similar Traffic Dry day on NH-44 will also be observed on 3rd March and 10th March 2023.”
