The Srinagar Ladakh highway, the only road connecting Ladakh region with Kashmir valley, and the 86-km-long historic Mughal road remained closed for the second consecutive day today due to landslides and snowfall while 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu highway was through for both-way traffic for light vehicles.

The 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh National Highway remained closed for traffic following avalanche and snowfall at several places, including Drass, the second coldest place in the world after Siberia.

However, the traffic on the 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu highway was plying from both sides for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
