SRINAGAR: A man who was critically injured in a road accident in Srinagar’s Nowgam area on Monday passed away at SKIMS Soura this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Nazir Ahmad Naqash, a resident of Baghat Barzulla, Srinagar. According to reports, he suffered severe head injuries after being struck by an Alto K10 vehicle in Nowgam earlier this week.
Following the accident, Naqash was initially taken to Ujala Cygnus Hospital for medical attention before being shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
He succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.
Notably, the police had already registered a case regarding the incident. [KNT]
