Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, Ashiq Hussain Bukhari Monday inaugurated a Youth Club in Srinagar while a public interactive meeting was also held on the occasion.
The Youth Club was inaugurated at Shaheed Gunj by the SSP Srinagar is equipped with a latest Gymnasium for the youth of the area.
Besides, the inaugural function a police-public interaction was chaired by the SSP Srinagar wherein members of Mohalla committees and traders of HSH Street deliberated upon their problems and grievances.
The problems of drug abuse and road encroachment by road side vendors leading to frequent traffic snarls came up during the interaction. The SSP assured them of all possible help in dealing with these problems.
The SSP Srinagar urged the participants to cooperate with the police in such matters as public assistance strengthens the efforts of police in dealing such issues.
