SRINAGAR: In a tragic incident, a stray dog mauled a 70-year-old man to death and left four others injured in the Manchowa area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam on Sunday.
Quoting officials, GNS reported that the attack occurred at around 6 am as people were heading towards their fields. Five individuals were injured, and one of them, identified as Khazir Mohammad Magrey, 70, succumbed to his injuries.
“The four other injured persons have been admitted to a local hospital, they added. Locals are demanding immediate action against the stray dog menace in the area, stating that today’s incident should serve as a wake-up call for the authorities. They warned that similar incidents may occur if no action is taken,” they said.
