On Wednesday students from different schools in Baramulla and Ganderbal districts staged protest against the weekend action of forces on government-run College in Southern district of Pulwama, that left more than fifty students injured.

Reports coming in from Palhalan area of Baramulla said that, students of Higher Secondary school Palhalan blocked Srinagar-Baramulla road to protest against the forces ‘highhandedness’ on students.

Later, reports from Palhalan said, police fired teargas and pellet to disperse the protesting studnest students. Some studnest have sustained injuries, locals said.

Similarly, in Delina area of Baramulla district another student protest was reported.

Meanwhile , reports from Ajas area of Bandipora are pouring in that students from number of schools of area took to streets and blocked the Bandipora-Srinagar road.

The students of Higher Secondary school Nadihal of same district  also staged a demonstration against the use of force on the students of GDC Pulwama, reports said .

In Kangan also the students of Government Higher Secondary School hit the roads in protest againt forces action on students. The students marched through the Kangan market and staged a sit-in at the main chowk, reports said.
