Wangchuk’s participation drew additional attention to the demonstration, which was attended by students, youth activists and supporters from various parts of the country.

Led by social media activist Abhijeet Dipke, the Cockroach Janata Party has gained prominence as a youth-driven movement raising issues related to competitive examinations, recruitment processes and reforms in the education sector.

Protesters alleged that concerns surrounding competitive examinations had not been adequately addressed and called for greater transparency, fairness and accountability in the conduct of examinations.

Wangchuk, who is widely known for his environmental advocacy and campaigns on issues affecting Ladakh, joined the gathering in support of students voicing concerns over examination-related matters.

The demonstration remained peaceful amid a significant security presence in central Delhi, with participants carrying national flags, placards and banners highlighting their demands.
