The students of Govt boys’ higher secondary School Gund on Monday blocked the Srinagar -Leh highway as a mark of protest against non-availability of transport facilities for the students.
Scores of the students assembled at Srinagar-Leh highway in Gund Ganderbal, amid sloganeering and demanded regular and timely transportation facilities.
The protesting students alleged that the nonavailability of transport facilities makes a routine delay in their school schedule.
Meanwhile, a police party from Gund reached to the spot and assured that the issue will be resolved at the earliest.
