The students of Boy’s Higher Secondary School, Sopore Thursday pelted stones on forces personnel deployed on the gate of the school triggering clashes, reports said.

They said that a forces party had been deployed on the main gate of the school which annoyed the students who started protesting by raising pro-freedom slogans and pelting stones.
The forces fired tear smoke shells on protesting students creating chaos in the area. “The forces fired tear smoke shells inside the school campus,” a witness told Kashmir Life.

Soon the students of the Degree College also joined the Higher Secondary Students hence intensifying protests, sources said.
