SRINAGAR: Students from different schools and colleges in Rajouri gathered together to protest against the exam results for 12th grade. The results were issued by the Board of School Education recently, but the students believe there are mistakes in them.

The students went to the BOSE office in Rajouri and blocked the road from Panja Chowk to Gujjar Mandi, stopping the movement of vehicles.

The students were upset because the Board released corrected results for students from Kashmir province, but they are ignoring the same demand for students from Jammu province. The students feel like no one is listening to them.

The students shouted slogans against the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, demanding that the results for Jammu province be revised as well. They also called for the option to reappear for exams and have their papers rechecked without having to pay any fees. The police from Rajouri police station later calmed down the protesters.
