Students Protest Delay in KU Exams; Date Sheet to be Out by Wednesday, says KU

KL Report

SRINAGAR

Scores of students Tuesday protested against the delay in examination of BG first year in South Kashmir’s Islamabad district.

The students alleged that the Kashmir University is playing with their future.

Pertinently, due to September 2014 floods, all the examinations in Kashmir valley got delayed, though, the Kashmir University authorities have started holding exams again but the first year students are still to be notified about their annual examinations.

“We are sitting home for last seven months; either promote us to the next class or hold our exams forthwith,” protesting students said.

More so, the recent incessant rains made it hard for the KU authorities to publicize the date sheet.

“Controller Examinations is in a meeting this time but, yes the date sheet for First Year students shall be announced in a day or so,” an official from the KU told Kashmir Life.
