SRINAGAR: The Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Dawar in Gurez Valley has been shifted to its old building following official directions and an administrative assessment.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Block Medical Officer, Gurez, the relocation was carried out on the directions of the MLA Gurez and due to operational considerations, including the availability of a functional operation theatre and a safety bunker at the old hospital site.
The circular reads that all medical staff has been instructed to ensure the timely and coordinated relocation of essential services, medical equipment, and records.
The move is aimed at ensuring continuity of healthcare services during the transition. (KNO)
