State Home Department has asked District administration Bandipora to submit its report relating to the death of Naidkhai youth within a month.

Minister of State for Home, Sajad Ahmed Kitchloo said that the probe into the killing of Naidkhai youth Farhat Ahmed Dar is going on and he has asked the Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora to complete the probe within a month and submit the report to State Home Department for legal action.

“I assure everyone that it will be a time bound probe and we are going to make it public,” he said.

Kitchloo admitted that killing of the youth could have been avoided and those who shot dead the Naidkhai youth committed a blunder. He said that the killing was unfortunate and the government is serious in booking the culprits.

Minister of State for Home Sajad Ahmed Kitchloo said that ADC Bandipora has been directed to conducted hearing on daily basis so that probe gets completed in stipulated time. “It is not fair to term any magisterial probe useless. In every probe that we ordered, action was taken against the persons who were indicted. The government will soon release a status report about the different probes that it conducted in different killings,” he said adding that government will give stringent punishment to those who would be found involved in the killing of the youth.

 Meanwhile, ADC Bandipora Nazir Ahmed who is heading the probe into the killing of Naidkhai youth said that he has started the process and soon the statements of the witnesses would be recorded.
