SRINAGAR: Sudhanshu Dhama, a 2016-batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dhama, recognized for his dynamic and people-centric approach, brings extensive experience from key postings in the Delhi Police and Arunachal Pradesh. During his tenure as Additional DCP in Delhi, he earned acclaim for swift action in rescue and humanitarian operations, including rescuing a kidnapped infant and ensuring emergency oxygen supply to a hospital.
His appointment is expected to strengthen law enforcement in Ganderbal, leveraging his proactive leadership and track record of operational efficiency.
