SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Saturday announced summer vacations for all educational institutions in the summer zone areas of the region, from June 7 to July 16, 2025.
DSEJ in an order said, “All government and recognised private schools falling in the summer zones of Jammu Division shall observe summer vacation with effect from 07-06-2025 to 16-07-2025 for students.”
The directorate, however, said that the teaching staff shall report to their respective schools on 14-07-2025 for readiness tasks such as cleanliness, preparation of Teaching Learning Material (TLM), lesson planning, timetable planning, and preparation of facilities for online classes like the ICT lab.
“All teachers shall remain available for any online guidance of students during the vacation period,” it added.
DSEJ further said that any default on the part of the head of the school or teaching staff in observing these directions shall attract action under rules. (KNO)
