This Sunday chief minister Mehbooba Mufti met several delegations in Jammu.

According to statement issued to media, Mehbooba met deputations from areas of Banihal, Gulabgarh, Wachi, Chattisinghpora and other areas of the state where she was sought pacing up of development projects in their areas.

They also demanded further upgradation and equipping of social infrastructure like schools and hospitals to serve the people of these areas in a better way.

A deputation from Banihal demanded posting of adequate staff and setting up of a blood bank in the local hospital. They also demanded developing a playfield at Lamber and upgradation of the road to the local ziyarat.

Another deputation from Gulabgarh demanded completion of Angrala-Gulabgarh-Nadimarg road to provide better connectivity to the area with the rest of the State. They also demanded electrification of un-electrified villages of the area and setting up of an ITI at Mahore.

A deputation of some technocrats discussed some green rejuvenation ideas with the chief minister.

A deputation from Wachi demanded that proper attention be paid to the horticulture sector by curbing the sale and distribution of spurious pesticides and fertilizers in the state.

A deputation of people from Chattisinghpora led by Gyani Rajinder Singh demanded upgradation of road network in the village besides improvement and augmentation of power distribution network. They also sought upgradation of local health sub centre to the level of a Primary Health Centre.

Another deputation demanded upgradation of road network in Tral area.

The Chief Minister, spokesman says patiently listened to the demands of the deputations and assured them that their genuine demands would be met in a time bound manner.
