SRINAGAR: Suresh Raina Cricket Academy in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council Conducts trail event for Kashmir Cricketers in Dooru Anantnag.
On this occasion, Divisional sports officer Kashmir Nuzhat, Director Cricket academics Kashmir Mubashir Ahmad and other Concerned officers of Jammu and Kashmir sports Department Anantnag were also present on said occasion.
The trail event was on the basis to develop the sport’s potential of the youth for development of the cricket field with all necessary facilities to provide a platform for the cricketers to showcase their talent.
A mammoth gathering of southern Cricketers including Anantnag Kulgam etc participated and showed their talent in Dooru stadium.
Girl cricketers from south Kashmir who have played Ranji and other leagues also participated in this trial and have appealed to LG Administration provide a platform for girl cricketers by sanctioning Girls Cricket Academy in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Suresh Raina Cricket Academy is conducting trials for all the age groups to shortlist the players for undergoing training in different Suresh Raina Cricket Academy units to be set at different places in the UT of J&K.
The players interested to undergo the trial are informed that the trails would be held at MA Stadium Jammu on December 8 and December 9, 2020.
Suresh Raina Cricket Academy has recently signed an MOU with J&K Sports Council and the trials to be conducted on above mention dates and venue is part of the pact.
