Srinagar
Suspected militants on Monday opened fire on Border Security forces vehicle in Panthachowk area of the city outskirts on Srinagar-Jammu highway, officials said. However, no one was injured in the attack.
“Militants fired a few gunshots towards BSF vehicle in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar outskirts,” a police official said.
Police, army and CRPF later cordoned off the area and carried out searches to nab the attackers, the official added.
