Suspected militants on Saturday attacked a police picket guarding the residence of National Conference leader in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official said that a Police picket guarding the residence of National Conference leader Showkat Ganai at Chitragam Kalan in Shopian was attacked by the suspected Militants. The official added that soon after the attack the assailants fled from the spot.
However, there were no immediate reports of any loss.
