Two policemen were injured on Wednesday after suspected militants fired upon a police party in Galendar Pampore town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official said that suspected militants fired upon a police party resulting in injuries to two policemen in Galendar, Pampore town.
The injured policemen were identified as Tanveer Ahmed, who had bullet injuries in the head and Mudasir Ahmed had minor injuries.
The official added that Tanveer Ahmed has been referred to Srinagar for the specialized treatment while another is being treated at local hospital.
