Suspected militants shot dead a protected person in Sopore, on Wednesfday. Police sources told Kashmir Life.
Kifayat Hussain Mir son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir resident of Bhoripora, Sopore was running a Himayat Centre and was having two PSOs to protect was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen at Shankergund Sopore.
Kifayat had contested the last assembly elections unsuccessfully.
