Suspected militants Saturday opened fire on Border Security Forces convoy at Udipora Langate area of Kupwara district.
Police officials in Handwara told Kashmir Life suspected militants at around 10 AM this morning opened fire on BSf convoy, when they were moving from Handwara to Baramulla.
“One jawan has sustained bullet injuries in the attack,” a BSF official said. However, his condition is said to be stable.
The official officials said that the whole area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched in the area to nab the militants.
