SRINAGAR: A suspicious bag was found on the Srinagar-Baramulla Highway near the Pattan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday morning.
Quoting a senior police officer, GNS reported that security forces, during routine patrolling, noticed a suspicious bag lying along the roadside on the Srinagar-Baramulla Highway.
A Bomb Disposal Squad was promptly summoned to the spot to inspect the bag, the officer said.
As a precautionary measure, traffic has been temporarily halted by the security forces, he added.
