SRINAGAR: The Army on Saturday opened gunfire upon detecting suspicious movement along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.
According to reports, Army personnel noticed the suspicious activity in the Sabra Gali area of Mendhar and promptly took action.
The gunfire occurred in a forward village in the snow-covered Mendhar region during the early hours of Saturday.
Meanwhile, a massive search operation was underway when last reports were received.
