SRINAGAR : Firing was reported in the Majalta area of Udhampur district on Wednesday evening after suspicious movement was noticed in the area.
Quoting sources, the news agency KNO reported that police and other personnel opened fire as a precautionary measure after noticing the suspicious movement.
Following the incident, vigilance has been intensified in the area, with personnel maintaining a close watch and searches being conducted to ascertain the nature of the movement.
