State Vigilance Commission (SVC) has directed Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, to cause his personal appearance before the Commission on the next date of hearing which is fixed on August 23 or ensure submission of the report well before the next date of hearing as the report previously sought was not received by the Commission.
The case Mohammad Ramzan versus Mohammad Khadam Malik was received by the SVC from State Accountability Commission on May 23, 2013.
The complainant in his complaint had revealed that one Mohammad Khadam posted as Sub Inspector in Police Station, Rajouri had demanded bribe for getting a false case registered against his father in p/s Rajouri. Since the police had taken the father of the complainant into police custody, the complainant somehow managed gratification which was paid to the said Sub Inspector in police station in presence of witnesses. It is further alleged in the complaint that neither the case was closed nor the money was returned by the Sub Inspector.
