SRINAGAR: Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) is inviting applications for various posts. It operates as an autonomous institution under the Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The vacant posts include Assistant Professor (Ortho/PMR) (Consultant): One post is available with required age of 40 years. The consolidated pay for the post is Rs. 1, 15, 361 per month. The essential qualification and experience for the post requires MD in PMR or 2 year Diploma course in PMR after MD Medicine from a recognized University by MCI OR MS Ortho.
• General Duty Medical Officer: Five posts are available with required age of 32 years. The consolidated pay for the post is Rs. 80,000 per month. Essential qualification for the post is MBBS Degree.
• Consultant Lecturer (Pathology): One post is available with required age of 40 years. The consolidated pay for the post is Rs. 55,000 per month. Essential Qualification for the post involves M.Sc. in Speech and Hearing/ MALSP/M.Sc. Speech Pathology with 2 years of teaching experience and valid RCI registration.
• Consultant Lecturer (Audiology): One post is available with required age of 40 years. The consolidated pay for the post is Rs. 55,000 per month. The essential qualification and experience required for the post is M.Sc. in Speech and Hearing/ MALSP/M.Sc. Audiology with 2 years of teaching experience and valid RCI registration.
• Legal Consultant: One post is available with the required age below 65 years. The remuneration is Rs. 52,000 per month. Essential qualification for the post is LLB/LLM with three years relevant Legal experience in Government Sector.
• Social Media Consultant: One post is available with the required age not more than 45 years. The remuneration is Rs. 50,000 per month. Essential qualification and experience is MA in Mass Communication/ Journalism with minimum one year experience in Government Ministry/ Department/ PSUs.
• Clinical Psychologist: 4 posts are available (one each for CDEIC – SVNIRTAR, CRC Guwahati, CRC Ranchi and CRC Balangir, with maximum age limit of 40 years. The remuneration includes Rs. 40,000 per month. Educational qualification and experience involves M Phil in Clinical Psychology or Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology or PhD in Clinical Psychology and RCI registration as professional with minimum one year experience.
• Physiotherapist: One post is available with required maximum age limit of 35 years. The remuneration is Rs. 35,000 per month. The essential qualification and experience involves Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institute. Maximum 2 years of experience in related field.
• Speech Therapy: Two posts are available with the required age below 40 years. Consolidated monthly remuneration includes Rs. 35,000 per month. The essential qualification and experience involves degree from a recognized institute in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Minimum 4 years of experience in the related field.
Candidates who are selected will initially be stationed at SVNIRTAR, Olatpur, Cuttack, Odisha. However, they may be subject to transfers to any location within India. Any form of canvassing or attempts to exert influence will lead to the disqualification of the candidacy.
The term of appointment is typically for an initial period not exceeding three years, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of five years. Extension beyond three years is subject to the approval of the general counsel of the institute, and under no circumstances shall it exceed five years.
An annual increment of 3 percent will be granted during the contract period. Paid leave of absence, amounting to 1.5 days for each completed month of service, will also be permitted.
