SRINAGAR: A sweeper of Municipal Committee Beerwah (MCB) died in a tragic road mishap on early Saturday morning when a hopper vehicle overturned near the dumping site at Katarmal in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Official sources said that victim has been identified as 40-year-old Farooq Ahmad Waza, son of Abdul Ahad Waza, a resident of Beerwah town.
The vehicle skidded off the road before overturning, resulting in Waza’s immediate demise, he was associated with Municipal Committee Budgam(MCG), they added.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. (KNT)
